Good price but feels a bit short? Any homeowners comment on if they felt they ever needed a longer one?

I think it's a good price. I plan on exterior maintenance of a ranch home.
If your plan is for only one ladder then you want an A-frame like the gorilla ladder coz you they better all round and easier to setup safely.
Edit: they also have 6ft/8ft step ladder for half off. I plan to get this for use on flat surfaces.

Which gorilla model do you recommend?? Need something to reach my gutters on a one story house and is VERY lightweight to carry.

The gorilla flex ones are the opposite of very lightweight. For lightest weight you need an extension like this. And for one story a 16 foot should be more than enough.

Agreed, hoping for a half price sale on the 24ft.

I bought the Gorilla 26 ft. man is it a heavy beast. I only bring it out when I really need that extra few ft. my. 16 ft extension is much lighter and easier to grab and use and put back if it will do the job! I just checked it's only 54 lbs so I guess it isn't the weight it is just awkward to set up and awkward to carry around. I can sling around 50 lb items effortlessly just something about the little giant that makes me dread getting it out!

I have an A-frame ladder and have given up on it.

Once opened, I just can't lift/slide it up. Probably need another pair of hands or a strong person.
