Yes I can weigh in. I bought this very TV in this size and it came in shattered on one side. Even though I had the regular warranty and the extended 2 year warranty they refused to send a replacement, told me I would have to return and reorder. The shipping agency, RXO that brought it said 3 of the same TV's they went to deliver were shattered that week alone in just my area. I had to fight with Samsung to honor the original price on the reorder, so much so that all the song and dance I went through left me thinking otherwise on this and just never reordered.

I also bought an 85" from Samsung last year that arrived in perfect condition. Very different than experience with Greentoe where the same 85" TV arrived with a very heavily damaged box and a cracked screen.

Got the 55" last month for my den and love it. The picture is really good, way better than the ancient KS8000 it replaced and brighter than the LG C9 in my living room.

Just ordered, I figure I'll pay around $1080 after tax with the $50 trade discount, 10% chat discount, PayPal/Chase freedom 5% discount and 2% click though site discount if it all works out. I skipped the mount because they were out of stock on the full motion mount. Supposed to be delivered 11/23.

I think so. The viewing angle and reflection handling on the QN90D will be much better, plus you get more dimming zones and brighter HDR and less blooming.

I ordered this QNX1D-85 TV with a free full-motion slim wall mount 3 weeks ago when the price was in the $1300s. I got this TV delivered this morning. And the service team wall mounted it well. As far as the TV quality, to me it looks great, with perfect blacks and handles reflections well enough. And I did some research and didn't find a TV in this price range with free wall mounting. I have seen negative reviews on the Samsung website, but luckily, I didn't run into any issues. When I asked the wall mount installer about website shipping damage comments on the website, he mentioned that they do inspect it after they receive it before they schedule the delivery. This is in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I'm not sure if this is the same in other places.
