incredible mouse. paid $110 for mine and I'd pay it again.
I fell for a similar deal a week or so ago, but returned it on the same day: the cheap, flimsy plastic feeling is ridiculous. Went back to MX Master 3S, which is head and shoulders above this one.
Some spec differences for the G502:
G502 OG/Hero: Wired older models
G502 X: Wired newer model
G502 X Lightspeed: Wireless newer model (this is the one on sale even though the post says G502 X PLUS LIGHTSPEED)
G502 X PLUS Lightspeed: Wireless newer model with RGB

Now for some opinions. I have had an OG G502, Razer Basilisk Ultimate, Razer Basilisk V3 Pro, and a G502 X Plus Lightspeed

I'd say on both hardware and software, Razer beats Logitech. I'm really not a fan of the Logitech G Hub and the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro seems like it has a better build quality than the G502 X Plus Lightspeed. I also don't care for the extra mouse buttons beside the M1 button on the G502 (labeled G7+G8). I tried to map it to something of use but could never find anything. The two buttons in the middle of the mouse below the scroll wheel is also considerably easier to mistakingly hit with the G502 vs the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro.

I will say one issue I've had with every single one of my Basilisks is that on the right hand side of the mouse, the rubber starts to deform from where I place my pinky. I don't remember if this happened with the OG G502 and I have not yet used the G502 X Plus Lightspeed enough for me to say whether or not it will happen but it's definitely a weakness of the basilisks. It's not a problem except when it comes to resale value I'd say.

Only reason for me to prefer the G502 X Lightspeed (imo) is if I have other Logitech peripherals and no Razer peripherals. Bonus points if you have a Logitech keyboard that works with dual-pair on one dongle. Or maybe if the PowerPlay mat speaks to you. You can get wireless charging with the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro and it uses Qi wireless charging rather than Logitech's proprietary charging method.

Yeah, It's very reliable and long lasting due to the optical switches and scroll wheel.

Not a bad price, but I managed to get mine slightly cheaper at $85 from Logitech mid July, came with a free mousepad as well.

Thanks! Been waiting for a while, I was going to use a Unidays student discount for 25% off retail, but logitech perpetually keeps the mouse on a tiny $10 sale so I couldn't use it.

The x series uses hybrid optical switches. So, if you like to think with switches, these won't take a regular mouse 2/3 prong switch. I had to buy another board with hot swappable posts so I could experiment. I put some silent kailhs in, love them. Also, with ghub they only think I programn is gshift and turn the wheel into volume control. That frees up my keyboard choices to not require a volume knob.

The rubber on these is poorly adhered.

Is this the first model from Logitech that has this problem? First time using it.
