In for 2. I already own 1 of this and I gotta say. It is simply a great replacement (superior to default imho). It is also the only remote I found that includes the "Home" button.

Good to know. My kids have destroyed the og 4k and no way was I going to buy another for $50. I was thinking about trying the Apple repair but not sure how much that would be and how long they keep the remote.

I have channel master stuff for my antenna setup. They did an easy warranty for an amp that got fried.

I don't think so. It's ir only and works for Apple TV out of the box.

There is a review in Amazon stating that the volume control doesn't actually control the volume on the Apple TV. Rather, you'll need to program the volume to your TV/Soundbar.

If your tv is newer and has hdmi pass through control it should work out of the box.

I have a 21 Samsung qled that's hooked up to Sonos arc, and it worked out of the box.

In the manual there's a way to program it specifically for soundbars that are controlled with the tv but I would try the remote out of the box first to see it if works.
