Teflon basket = hard pass.

Not sure why it's so hard for manufacturers to realize people don't want to poison themselves each time they cook and put stainless steel baskets in. I have a Chefman that is stainless steel inside and it works great, cleanup is a breeze, and I don't have to worry about forever chemicals inevitably leeching into my food and body.

I don't have an air fryer yet, maybe this is one to buy. Overall rating of 4.8 / 5 stars from 6,000+ Walmart reviews. I'd be interested in anyone's reviews/suggestions.

Also, I just noticed the specifications say the basket is ceramic coated (not Teflon). I'm reading the reviews now.

I *think* QVC [qvc.com] is selling the same model for $79.99.

Tempting. The Insignia one I got from Best Buy has been [cpsc.gov]recalled [cpsc.gov], so I need a new one. Having an air fryer has been a game changer.

We have the side by side version... daily use for the past year. It's a game changer for speed and ease of use for two eating sensible sized portions.

I have the 3qt version of this (I'm usually only cooking for one or two people).
It is pretty small, but I think that 4qt would be perfect for a single person.

Quality-wise I've been pretty happy with it.
This one would be great if you have a smaller kitchen and counter space is an issue.

This could be a duplicate post from me but not seeing the first one. There is a 2 star review on Amazon for this item from March 2024 showing the box specifically warning that the product contains PFAS chemicals. It showed a QR style code linking to Ninja (or their parent company) for more info. The reviewer was not happy that the description said it had a ceramic coating. I did not assume it could only have one or the other and bought a different product.

I have had this for at least 4 years and it still rocks. Had to replace the removable trays twice but performance is still fantastic.
