Maybe I'm being really conspiratorial here, but cereals from Walgreens are fundamentally different from their counterparts at grocery stores.

Big cereal made a specific version of their cereals that they ONLY sell in Walgreens. This is so they can generate 5x profit margins from Walgreens. They will soon stop selling their razer-thin profit cereals in grocery stores, and switch exclusively to Walgreens. /s
