This all seemed really odd to me when the adult ones were on sale, but now that it is for kids, I like the packaging idea.
Way too many times, my kids will mess up their socks when we're away from the house or forget them we go bowling. Having them in a small little container that I can just leave in the car seems perfect.

I ordered the adult ones last time. Thinner than I like. But ok for wearing around the house since it's getting cold.
