A few months ago I would have been all over this, but Klein ModBox drawers has been making a lot of moves. Between more choice for sizing, a new rolling drawers bottom, and better pricing without "sales." Milwaukee is a bit arrogant with Packout, while the entire market is trying hard to dethrown them.

Where is the 445 original price coming from? These are 160ish/ea retail. Ok deal but not as good as shown on this post (sub 30% off rather than near 50)

Edit - looks like I either didn't read the whole post or it was updated - either way ended up with the posted kit + a crate + the work top for 267 pre tax (no dolly). Really only wanted the work top and crate so I guess that's a good way to get those near free after putting the two drawers on marketplace.

Milwaukee are lazy: High prices, few new productions or improvements in the Packout line, while their competition has been consistently narrowing the gap and offering more variety/features. Packout looks almost exactly the same today as it did two years ago, but that isn't true with anyone else in this space.

I own several Packout pieces. When I purchased them there wasn't really anything else touching Packout, but today? I'd likely not go with Packout.

Last week these three items plus the 48-22-8488 work top could be had for 289.99, i bit on that deal. We might see more good deals on this stuff as we get closer to Christmas season, competition between brands seems to be heating up.

I understood that just fine. Agree that Milwaukee is a bit arrogant with their packout system. I'm in for a healthy competition good for consumers and it's about time for others in the market to join in on the Packout war.

"Few new products" ...bruh, what? The packout lineup is like dozens of different items now, and they just added more within the last 6 months.. The main thing they're missing is a roller base with a drawer, which was finally announced earlier this year and should be coming early 2025.
