While this is a "good deal" just know that once you do this, you will no longer get any occasional promo on your account

I was month to month due to being free with the credit card, but that expires this month so was going to cancel anyhow. Doing this, managed to get three months at 90% off, so 3 bucks total. Thanks.

Mine ends in June of next year and this worked. You had to go through two menus of "are you sure" before it asks you about the discount.
