AMD Radeon 880m graphics for a bit of decent gaming in appropriate settings but more of a media consumption/office work laptop (this alone won me over an Intel igpu config considering AMDs power efficiency/higher benchmarks). Build quality is decent for an ultra light PC laptop. I like the lay flat hinge design, and it feels sturdy. Battery life is meh for maybe a 6hr plane trip watching movies, but plan on plugging in for more screen time. Amazing 3k OLED screen 600 nits! Watching videos on this little thing blows my mind. $1k and Costco policy makes this an excellent value purchase.
Some cons: Although the tech specs show a "M.2 2280 slot", reviewers say the RAM and SSD are soldered so you'll need to be happy with 32GB/1TB respectively for the life of the machine. There is a USB4 slot so you could attach an external SSD (or GPU) and use its 40gbps port. The trackpad is not haptic, but that's not expected at this price.
From my research, the power efficiency kings are Qualcomm > AMD > Lunar Lake. All offer great efficiency and AMD seems to be in the sweet spot as far as efficiency and performance.

Are the lunar lake and Qualcomm machines better in terms of power efficiency and performance? I'm not interested in an ARM laptop due to compatibility issues.
