Projector can replace everyday TV. Just need to buy good projector. That's all. Brightness of 2700 Lumens on this is good enough if u have control lights in room. Only Epson is making good projectors tho. I have had issues with other brand. They not what they say expect Epson.

While I own an EPSON, I think that it's irresponsible to say "only Epson is making good projectors". There are a lot of good projectors out there not made by EPSON.

I had bad experience with mostly other brand except Epson. That's why I said, I had issues. No question other company making good projectors but u have to get lucky with them I guess.

Well, maybe projector just can not replace TV yet. With 100" TV $1600, I didn't see any plus to by this projector.

It all depends on your needs and setup of your home/area where TV/Projector is going. I have had 55" 65" TVs in our living room in past but now I have bigger living room n those 65" or 85" TVs feel like a toy on the wall. So I want with Projector to replace those TVs. Nothing beats the laser projector.

I owned Epson LS800 (brightest home lazer UST with 4000 lumens) with 120 inc ALR screen in a light controlled room with black out curtains along with a mini-led TV in another room. I like/love LS800 and the immersion of 120 inches yet my honest feedback would be NO it does not replace every day TV unless/even though we are talking a regular LED without any local dimming. VA FALD/MiniLED/OLED just a BETTER in terms of brightness, blacks and overall picture quality. TV is TV and PJ is PJ. This is bundled with a 100 inch screen so I suggest Hisense 100U70N deal from Costco instead of this.

You're better off getting the Hisense u76n 100" mini-QLED 4k UHD that's currently on sale for $1,800. It will be better for day time viewing and will have better contrast and black levels vs. the L5H projector. I would only consider a projector if going larger than a 100" screen.

This isn't a slickdeal since the L5H is a single laser UST projector. One can get the Hisense L9G (3,000 lumens tri-laser) UST projector with 100" daylight screen for $1,650 w/free shipping. The L5G with a 100" daylight screen is $1,400 with free shipping. Both are at Amazon. At those projector screen sizes and prices I would get a 100" mini-QLED 4k UHD TV instead.

Agreed, for this just get the 100 inch screen. If this was the 120" or 150" it would be slick. For only a 100" screen, just buy a tv. I'm hoping the 150" goes on sale this season.
