I got this from Costco for $250 about six months ago. For this price, it's great. Just set your expectations according to the price point because it really doesn't impress. You can either have color accuracy or HDR, but not both at the same time. In any of the brighter settings mine has a sort of greenish color cast that's not super bad but noticeable enough to be annoying if you're accustomed to accurate colors.

I would be using this to replace a 19" FHD TN 60Hz panel at work. I think I could reasonably expect good things from this one.

You can get this monitor currently for $229 at Costco new, for the price difference, if it matters to anyone. I got this for my son's bday couple of weeks ago. Great monitor for the price point if you want something wide, 1440p, 165hz and curved.

I wouldn't use this for workstation needs due to the VA panel, IPS is much easier on the eyes for workstation needs.

I shopped around this past summer and this refurb monitor is one of the best values for the money IMO. Gaming, very solid. Color is better than cheaper IPS panels. Black levels are nice. Works fine for productivity too, but the text isn't as sharp as IPS. Then again, neither are expensive OLEDs.

Can you split screen and share 'partitioned' screen area on Zoom or Teams ?

No HDMI 2.1, so no 120fps for gaming consoles.

Important to me as an xbox gamer that shares their monitor with their computer. Although my current 27" Acer is OK at 1080p/60fps, I'm now looking to improve on that

But it can do 144 hz at 1440p.

I think this was a little cheaper on Target/Acer Recertified after w/ 5% off with circle card (https://www.target.com/p/acer-34-...A-93266825)

I opted for the XZ322QU (31.5" curved) for $150 after taxes through Target. Acer on eBay offered 5% off after a couple of days but I had already ordered through Target. some of the prices differ a little between eBay and Target

I'm leaning towards the Samsung for name and lack of the "refurbished" label (even if I buy refurbs all the time).

TBH thought I'm not sure either would be that much of an upgrade over my current Vio-tek GNV34DB. (tried posting a link to the mfg's product page but SD is blocking it for some reason...)

Never buy Acer monitor! i have two Acer monitors, one is 17 " and another one is 27" both dead just after the warranty.

I received it broken. Packaging is pretty poor, though it doesnt look like the damage was during shipping. The corner looked peeled and when I plugged it in it was clearly broken. No exchange available, have to submit a return for a refund. I doubled down and gambled on a second order for some reason. I might just grab it from costco if the second is a dud.
