I have two of these 40oz and the quality is pretty low. Usually I like ozark trail for value, but the lids are annoying to screw on, the straw is hard to get in and out and the finish gets destroyed by dishwasher heat (you aren't supposed to dishwash them). If you use a large tumbler regularly, it's much better to buy a hydro flask from one of the big box discount retailers for ~$10 more (Marshall's, Sierra, Ross, TJ Maxx). IMO the hydro flask design is the best of all of the Stanley type mugs. Two piece straw design, flexible straw, very good leak prevention, easy to clean, great ice retention, holds up to the dishwasher well

YMMV, we've enjoyed our OT 40ozs for over a year without issues
I like the screw-on lids as it prevents huge spills when the kiddos knock them over

Just as good as any other cup that's in demand at the moment. Yeti, Stanley, rtic, whatever. They all take a dive at one point as history has proven.

If there's a leak proof 3rd party lid that will work on these this is a pretty solid deal

That is funny. It's like saying the Mustangs sheet metal is garbage because they dent when hit with a sledge hammer (you aren't supposed to hit them with a sledge hammer).

Well... that's the norm nowadays.
It's rare to find a decent well made product nowadays.

Except, it wouldn't be too crazy to expect a tumbler to hold up against a dishwasher cycle - not in the same league as taking a sledge hammer to a hollow part of sheet metal and expecting it to be dent-free.

Especially, when you consider the product description / features does claim this specifically:

- Convenient carry handle
- BPA free, sweat-free design
- Food-grade 18/8 stainless steel
- *Dishwasher safe*

I haven't used the product and can't comment on the quality, but if what the other post claimed is true, then I too would be pissed that they don't stand up to this claimed, not-so-crazy feature of being dishwasher-safe. Let's not normalize this.

I love these. Super affordable. I've had several of them for over a year and put them in the dishwasher regularly. They do show a little wear but I can put ice in these and 24 hours later still have ice. I also have Hydro flask cups and the ice is totally melted just overnight on my nightstand. I'm an ozark trail fan for sure.

Looks like the $10 Tumblers (40 oz) that Michael's sells.

I was in the market for a 40oz and I'm glad this popped up. I'm a basketball coach and I've been using my daughter's pink Stanley for months. Picked up the 2 on sale (Beige and Red). Thanks a lot!
