Less than $210 at Amazon right now. I would be hard pressed to spend the time to stand in line at Home Depot for the refund for the price difference.

If you're buying this tool, you're at HD often. So 5min for $40 off is worth it to most, but to each their own.

Definitely not. There is better from dewalt but 1" rotary hammers are the most common that ppl go for especially for diy use. This dewalt is good in comparison to other brands as well for 1" sds.

also with those better rotary hammers come more bulk and size

I have a smaller Atomic version, and it gets used at home often. Great for drilling into brick or concrete.

This is a great deal. I wish this was up a couple months ago. I needed one and there were no sales at the time. Ended up paying $200 for the smaller atomic version but wish I had this instead.

I tried the hack a few months ago . They wouldn't allow me to return the battery that came with the cut off tool I purchased. They said I have to return everything not just the battery.

I tried to do this, but last time they wouldn't let me because it is in a bundle. Showing $299 for me too.

I'm not sure why they don't allow it in your area. I'm in N. Cal. I've been doing the hack for years. No problem whatsoever. When you put it in your basket, there are two separate line items. They prorate the price.
