i don't have personal experience with these air purifiers but when i was searching on SD i saw the Mini last posted in October for $50 and the 311i+ Max last posted in February for $200

I have the older versions (Blue Pure 411 Auto, Bedroom & Blue Pure 211+ Auto, Living/Kitchen) and like them a lot. They have help me with my allergies, and my house always smells clean and neutral. They also get rid of cooking odors really fast. I have them on a smart outlet, and they only are on when I am home, the filters have lasted me years that way.

I have several BlueAir filters. For this one, it's nice but swapping filters is tougher than others. I've also had a few days when the fan was a little louder. Otherwise, its not bad.

I bought this 311i+ model close to two years ago and am very happy with it. I'm thinking about picking up another at this price. Replacement filters generally run $40-ish, but I just picked up a 2-pack on Amazon for $45.

The Mini Max filters are $2.50 each if you buy the generic 4 pack.

Otherwise, they're $10 each, which is on the high side for such a small unit.

Investing in a shop vac with a crevice and brush attachment can extend the life of the filters quite a bit when it comes to pet hair.

Their dander permeates, but all the hair stays on the surface, blocking all the filtration.

But keep in mind, the 311 has the pre-filter on the outside, so it might end up looking like one of your pets if you don't vacuum it frequently.
