Go to Costco's sire, search for Hisense. Only 18 results and it's one of them, they're not Amazon. They have several sizes for similar prices.

Review mentions that this tv, the 58R6E3, is in the same R6 family as the tv being reviewed, but looks like a walmart exclusive.

A few years ago, I got a 55 inch Hisense Roku TV during Black Friday. It is using 7215X hardware. It is starting to have laggy issues, mainly after using any streaming app. Once in a while in the last few months, it has crashes good enough that you need to do a hard reboot with the remote.
Well that's the deal with even top tier TVs.
My Sony 900/90 series started doing it 8 months after purchase. It's best to use an external streamer.

I have Roku Ultra on the side because the Netflix app is the main one that started to have issues. The Roku Ultra does not have issues.

This has been this price for months now with no change. That being said I did buy it the first time I saw the price, for the price it's solid. No bleed, brightness isn't crazy at 300 not the bare minimum for HDR but I tend to lower it unless in direct sunlight anyway as I find actual quality HDR 800+ nit tvs blinding. 58 inch 4k, adequate color, decent contrast for cheap. When watching anime (and for any other subtitle use case) and getting subtitles to load is a pain natively they need to be enabled in accessibility and customized with limited font options and no way to add more, ended up using a Chromecast with Google TV for Plex subtitle watching. I'm unsure if this is the built in Roku TV is or all rokus that operate that way.

I got this one with same day delivery earlier this week. Viewing angles not great but decent picture that is good enough for me. I also got the $43 5-year extended warranty.

Look, I'm sure it's gotta be different in some ways, but I just realized (because this thread reminded me to look it up) that it's now been 3 years since I bought my 58" R6 from Walmart for about the same price.

I bought the extended warranty because everyone said I'd need it.

Suffice to say, I haven't and it expires in 2 weeks (knock wood…)

The thing is my home gym TV. It does two things: plays stuff during cardio and/or displays security cams if I'm working out at home alone so I have some warning that someone else has arrived home.

It has just sat there and run since day 1. No issues - although I've never sat there and analyzed its color accuracy nor light bleed because, again, those things don't matter to me when my heart rate is above 150bpm…

I've only used the Roku features a handful of times because I've got an Apple TV 4K attached to it.

I just needed a cheap TV and honestly, this has exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations in every way.

Same model as you, about 2.5 years old, just had to replace it because it lost all picture output. Granted this one was the primary TV and had a lot of use as such and being left on overnight and in general. Went and got the newer version listed here, with the warranty this time. Guess it's in how you use it!

Does anyone know how this model compares to the TCL 58" with upgraded built in sound system
https://www.costco.com/tcl-58-cla...93883.html

$10 more but it includes 3 yr manufacturer warranty (not extended)

Me too! Got it for same price in Aug. I'm not too fond of Hisense after my 65" died after just 4.5 years but can't beat the price. TCL is in similar price range but it had so many problems that I had to return it after just a few months. The only thing I hate about this TV so far is the remote control. The volume controls are on the side which is terrible since just picking it up can accidentally mute the TV.
