Used one last week for a 10600K that I had bought on the previous deal for $13, it was a really simple install and brackets were included for adding a second fan.

Ordered a second one for testing a 10850k setup incoming from eBay, it should be able to hold that down fairly well, but likely a little smaller than ideal for that.

This will be good for just about any AMD CPU as well. Excellent value.

this is actually an excellent deal as sometimes the chinese knockoff brands are this price or a bit more. for being a brand name, this is great.

Hyper212's were sufficient 15 years ago, now they're too weak for even entry level CPUs.

It is lame that they raise the price to then deduct that increase with a coupon code.

CPUs 15 years ago typically pulled more power and ran hotter, hence a Hyper 212 will absolutely be fine for anything short of an intel i9, I did slap an extra fan on my Hyper212 black edition though. (running on a 12700k)
