Tempted, for mid range gaming laptop this is a deal. However, HP web site appears to be starting to have deals on 13th and 14th gen I7 laptops and desktops, so consider that.

Actually the last time a deal like this popped up it was an rtx 3050 for 600$. So this is an improvement

For what it's worth Bestbuy is selling a Ryzen variant of this Victus for $429 with the Ryzen 5 7535HS and the RX6550M but only has 8GB of ram instead of 16. It is a single 8GB so you could potentially just add an another stock of 8GB and be at 16 but i have zero clue if the GPU is remotely equivalent to the 4050 nvidia.

Edit: after a little bit of research, the RTX4050 is still 40-50% better than the Radeon RX6550M

Just 1 NVMe slot. It looks like it has a second spot for it, but it has no pins soldered for it to lock into. But has 2 memory slots which both are occupied with 8GB sticks.

So, tried to research the laptop some more. Specs on Walmart pages don't seem to be correct. Walmart says it is DDR4 ram, in reality it is DDR5 and has max capacity of 32GB. This video appears to review the 8GB model and it runs great.
