Not sure why you're getting thumbs down but this is a legitimate question. My xm4 batteries suck and I get alot of random disconnects from one earbud.

I had many mainstrwam earbuds, this is by far the best I ever owned in terms of SQ. If you want noise cancelling, look elsewhere since this one is bad.

best recurring deal on SD and best 120 I ever spent. What you get is highest sound quality available in this category and excellent noise cancellation. If I had to nitpick, they initially arrived with some earwax, and the other person on the line complains about the mic/audio quality when I sit at the back of the bus where it's loud asf.

I can only speak on my own experience, but I bought these from Secondipity via eBay. They were open-box refurbished. At first, I really loved them. I prioritized ANC and portability over sound quality (they still sound good!) and that was what I got. My one problem was that the ANC would glitch at random times. I would hear a loud click every now and then when I had my noise canceling. This was a dealbreaker for me, so I returned them. Thankfully, Secondipity and eBay made the return painless.
I wish I could have loved these. Maybe they're better as a new pair, but I'm on my Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and they're doing just fine for me.

the noise cancelling is just slightly worse than my bose ultra buds

if you think it's bad, you're probably not getting a good seal

it's measured objectively to be one of the top noise cancelling buds

My XM3 had a battery issue after fw update...one drains incredibly fast. They also die when not in use. No more Sony for me lol.

Never buying refurb Sony from secondipity again. Common well know. Battery issue with the xm4 due to their idiotic update, they wouldn't replace or repair because I got it from secondipity. Ended up replacing battery myself. AirPod pro 2 is my next one. Sony lost a customer here.

Unrelated I got the xm4 headphones from second pity open box but was clearly heavily used. I emailed them a week ago and no response. Is this normal?
