Not sure these are worth at all for any prize? I have a set and not even sure if they're working for the purpose. You have to have certain angle on your ceiling, certain height for your ceiling, where the sound from this speakers reflect precisely where you are seatings to get the best effect of Atmos. Too much physics and angles involved in a set up. Not worth according to me.

I think these are specialized additional height speakers, not traditional surround speakers.

Not a bad purchase, just be realistic about the impact of this on your audio experience (and likely dependency on audio source/quality).
I Purchased these last time they were on discount. I have a 7 speakers in the living room, so added those for the Atmos effect. After multiple calibrations (with Denon X3700h's built in calibration/microphone setup), I can't really tell how they're affecting the overall experience. If I really try hard, maybe I can hear them in some PS5 games and certain movies?

This is a common complaint, generally speaking these types of speakers don't work very well for that purpose. You have to get your speakers up in the air close to the ceiling around the ceiling

Mount them on the ceiling.

Got these first and switched to SVS. These had more bass, but less mid-range detail. For this price, I'd go with these.

the 40SA are a newer version but one reviewer said there's hardly a difference between the two.. they also share the same tweeter and speaker size but different material

I concur. Its effect is barely noticable, if it's even there, for me in upfiring setup. I would only buy these speakers if i can mount them on the wall.

Something to do with Atmos is, it is AtMost does not feel it in most setups or the brain does not feel it, it is one of the 2.
Spent time time time - different speakers, different configurations, different rooms - rarely felt it for a second.
Does it work in Atmos theaters " as advertised " ?
