The series is standalone…mostly. But they didn't remake Silent Hill 1, they just jumped to the most popular and well regarded one. You can play 2 without having played any of the others.

Some store managers on reddit are saying it'll drop to 35...I highly doubt it but it'll definitely be cheaper than this (Hold!)
