I agree. These are two versions old and the newest version is 6 months old already. People seem to forget how much headphones have improved in the last 5 years or so.

I've had these for 2 yrs and they are one of my favorites. I got the model 3 and didn't like them as much.

This is definitely a good deal for brand new Sennheisers with ANC, but note that many of the reviews on Amazon are from early 2021. In less than 2 months we'll be in 2025. The Sony XM4 model earbuds were first released in June 2021, so these would have competed against the XM4s back in 2021.

Hard to go wrong at only $65 for these, but one option I'd consider would be the Jabra Connect 5t's (released late 2022) for $59.99 sold as Refurbs direct from Jabra with a 2 yr warranty. And I've bought refurbs from Jabra before, and they look brand new. Original MSRP retail was about $170.

Still using 2 sets of Jabra referbs. They work outstanding. Jabra does multipoint very well too.

I loved these but the downside is it's a master and slave setup so the left ear bud won't work by itself.
