That right there is the problem. You can get 11 new containers+ lids for $25 but you need to pay almost half the price for 6 replacement lids.

Different glass bowls, as those have lips to snap on to.

I bought multiple sets of this from Costco and have found the glass lip area splits/cracks in time.
I do put them in the dishwasher, but am otherwise reasonably careful with them. I think the repeated snap takes its toll. YMMV? But I'm considering switching to the non snap versions like OP listed

Check out the silicone replacement lids. They're not as rigid but they seal well and they won't crack.

Another tip is to not use lids when food is hot/warm in the container

The same club that you linked are all round. I prefer some rectangular to store larger food items I have cooked.
