They questioned and held my M2 mini order. I had to provide them with proof I was buying it for my granddaughter.
They held my order until I provided my granddaughters college email address.
You nailed it. Apple is no charity, apple just knows how price discrimination works. The goal of apple is to make every last penny based on how much each group can afford to spend.
So, it would be really naive if you think you are doing something unethical. You are merely beating apple in this pricing discrimination game!

How is this a fraud? You don't have to certify or attest you are a student.
It's just marketing by Apple.
They removed Unidays verification.
They know what they are doing.
They never check. I do delivery and in-store pick ups and was never once asked to prove I'm a K12 student. People don't blink an eye and congratulated me when I picked up my new macbook pro in the store too.
Maybe certain state has stricter checks? or because I've gotten away with it so they assume I am a student from my past order history. haha!
