I used to be a Fitbit guy for years. Loved the devices. Once they got bought out by Google, things went down hill. Their forum mods are employees and they routinely censor ALL comments which mention any other competing products and are like bots. They are fairly unhelpful with any issue and will contiually post the same canned responses over and over again.

My last straw was when their devices would die during updates and some at mere 13 or 14 months and they would say since the warranty was 12 months and your 12 months are up, you are SOL. Mind you. The device would be fine before the update and die during the update process. Hundreds of threads/posts on different models doing the same thing.

I will never do business with Fitbit again or buy any of their devices again.

Fitbit is notorious for planned obsolescence. My charge 5 only lasts for two hours now, even after replacing the battery.

I've been wearing a Sense daily since January 2022, still going strong. Currently at 92% battery life after 8 hours use.

My 5 is still on original battery and lasts for ten days between charges. I wonder why we got two different experiences? Quality control?

I just replaced my Charge 3 a few months ago because the display light was fading away and making it barely readable.

I've had two replacements and the current has stopped working a week ago. Take them off to shower etc. my 3 lasted forever.

considering this because the charge line has always been perfect for what I needed. just disappointed that they don't last.

Interesting. My Charge 2 was going strong for years. Then they ruined the app, there was a deal on the Apple Watch, and now I wear that instead.

I thought Google was killing off Fitbit as a brand / platform, no?

Inspire 3 if you don't need GPS on the watch nor payments.

Agree, do not buy. Search the fitbit black screen. They kill their own screen to encourage replacement, have failed their users.

Tempting. I had a Galaxy Watch 5, but somehow I lost it on my birthday months ago...location data just says it was last seen in my city lol. I'm sure it's somewhere obvious, but maybe I should just get this for $70.
