going with amazon instead of apple education right now, only cost $18 more ($544 - $526) for the m4 mini. for that you can get on their 5 pay 0% interest plan if you have their prime visa card. plus that includes getting 6% back on the card too, just by delaying the shipping by one day. this was a no brainer for me. and they have a 1/15/25 free return date. that's plenty of time to be sure you like it.

Discover CB has 5% on Amazon this quarter. I was going to wait until next year's Back to School deal since I don't NEED it, but if the tariffs get enacted, there's a chance prices will go up. On the other hand, tariffs usually only apply to products that are also manufactured domestically, and basically no consumer electronics are, so they are probably excluded.
