Buy this or wait for RDNA4 GPU on 2025? Either way, I have to buy a pc on 2025 to replace an ancient laptop that won't be compatible with Windows 11. I figure that $500 for the RX 7800XT should hold its own against the PS6 or new Xbox on 2026 or 2027 (Edit: at 60fps on 1440p)

Wait for Black Friday, sure, but I wouldn't wait for 2025. Pretty much everything PC hardware related is going to become a lot more expensive in 2025. And I wouldn't expect the next PS or Xbox before 2028-29.
