The regular promedia goes down to $99, the promedia heritage never has.

The heritage are better. I recently upgraded from the regular promedia to the heritage. The sub is bigger and digs a little deeper, the speakers get louder. The speaker boxes are wood vs plastic.

The heritage comes with a remote to adjust the volume and the sub level, but loses the on speaker volume dial that the regular has ( which was easier for me when used as computer speakers).

Depends on the model, there is a huge range of logitechs. They have had some nice 2.1 sets at the top of their line over the years that would be comparable to these, but these will beat out most Logitech sets.

Klipsch.com made the discount code location almost impossible to find (they did that on purpose). It's all the way at the bottom and you have to then click on the "apply a discount code" then paste it in there.

Probably because the OG Pro Media amp used to run hot and staged on all the time and died. The OG Bluetooth model also picked up everyone's BT signal as well. Not well thought out.

No, not fixed. No cheap amp + dacs like these are going to be quiet.

The regular version is almost completely different than the Heritage. It has a 6.5" 80W peak power subwoofer vs 8" 150W peak power subwoofer and smaller less powerful satellites. Reviews say that the Heritage system sounds considerably better.

Vinyl wrapped MDF (medium density fiberboard), which is engineered wood often used for speaker cabinets. Not ABS plastic like the regular promedia satellites.
