I am not 100% certain here, but I believe these two machines are the same SFP703CO (Costco) / SFP701 for the most part. However, Costco and/or other stores usually like to change the model slightly and add features to differentiate their offerings. In this case, I think the Costco model simply has an extra glass lid that other model's don't have.

Edit: So besides the glass lid, the Costco model looks like it also includes a ladle and spatula (based on what I see in the product images)

It's basically just a toaster oven with extra functions and a big panel to control them. IMO the weird units are the ones with the baskets with external handles you pull out, or top-open. This at least can be used under an upper cabinet without interfering with it.

I've been on the lookout for something a bit 'nicer' to upgrade the one I got 7+ years ago @ $20, and I think this fits the bill. Thanks OP

This looks like the ninja speedi refresh. For what it's worth, we use our speedi 5 nights a week at least. It's a fantastic workhorse for this young family.
I like that this has the door open outwards. We have to place the speedi sort of awkwardly because of its' top open door.

How well does this air fry compared to a dedicated air fryer?

Bought this and returned. The bottom of the pan gets scratched each time it slides into the compartment. Terrible design

Can a regular air fryer not do what this does?

NO! Definitely not. These new multicookers can prepare an entire meal all at once!

Apparently it has steam and sous vide functions, so the interior must be more moisture resistant than an air fryer.

I'm not seeing a probe, though, so it's probably not very accurate.

Bingo, for a sec I thought the black thing was a smart phone app, then I realize that's the control panel like a glued on remote.

it looks like it doesn't have a water tank. It's relying on the lower tray to hold water that helps generate steam

I just got the SFP701 and this is true, but I think its intentional as the part the pan slides on appears to be a thermal sensor and having it maintain contact with the bottom of the pan probably increases accuracy.
