it was expired, and is now alive again.
i would get one if not because i have a SER7, and the update from 7745 to 8745, at least in my use cases, are the same. but SER8 does improve quite a bit on noise under load, as well as a unibody construction.

i just wish they can come up a AMD version of their box that is compatible to their dGPU dock. which i think is the cleanest and smallest solution to date for mini pc if you want dGPU

This seems like a really good deal for the specs. I am not sure about trusting the company, even though they've been around forever. I just ordered a base model Mac Mini, and wish it had this RAM/storage combo, but with Apple, that would have doubled the cost. I've been watching these mini pc deals for months, and I don't think it gets better than this. Again, not sure about the build quality, but the value is very high here. If I could afford it, I'd buy it and compare it to the Mac Mini, as I actually prefer Windows.

I'm really happy with mine just know that wi-fi/bluetooth is garbage on it. Use ethernet.
Beelink fixed most of these issues in the new SER9 with Strix Point.

It will be interesting to see how the Mac MIni does in future (now that base is 16gb) as I believe the new Mac Mini performance is substantially better than most of these x86 mini computers for around same cost (esp the edu price of $499 Mini). Yes Mac Mini internal storage is still over priced, an external thunderbolt drive solves that for not much money.

Came here to say the same.

The mini 4 I think has better performance + its Apple (so high resale value, good support, etc vs these weird brands). Graphics are almost twice as fast. Im sure its more efficient.

Really the only reason to get one of these is if you dont want to be on MacOS.

Ive never personally owned a Mac, but for the value Im still mulling over getting one to mess with.
