Again, this isn't a regular Ultra. It has specialized pickups and other items on it.

So while this is a good deal on an American Fender, you have to be okay with the pickups and db boost stuff this has.

The store sold a bunch of necks and bodies from this model on ebay, the total cost of those two items is also about $900. Hopefully this is not one assembled from those parts. The case is a plus for sure.

The store (Franklin Guitar Works) sells refurbished instruments (without factory warranty) that they buy from Fender and other manufacturers in unsellable condition. I assume that some of the necks and bodies they sold individually were from parting out guitars that they didn't think were worth refurbishing.
Or perhaps they just also bought spare parts from Fender that the company wasn't going to use.

Thanks OP for posting the deal! This is very tempting for someone who wants a maple-neck, nitro-finished Strat.
