I got this offer and I never get offers. However, not sure how much use I'd get out of it as the nearest Target to me is 45 minutes away.
Wouldn't you use it more if the nearest Target was far away? That makes it more convenient and valuable. My Target is less than 10 minutes away so I would rather just go there myself.

We tried the same day delivery and I didn't realize that they used Shipt. It's like other side gig service in that they don't pay the drivers a decent wage/travel costs -- and instead ask you to pay a large tip in order to compensate. While my time is valuable, I was basically adding 20% or more per delivery in a tip, which is going to make the overall cost of the membership for more than $50 over a year. I think I would only use it for emergency circumstances now. Otherwise I'll just use the free Circle drive up.
This is what I was afraid of. May as well jack everything up 20% and just give the service away for "free" at that point. Lame.

If you have verified with Target as active military or a veteran, this stacks with another Target offer for $50 back in rewards on an annual membership. So a $50 membership purchase nets you a $50 off $50 coupon and $50 in rewards. Big Grin Even better, the storewide 10% off coupons for military are still valid through tomorrow and can be combined with both the coupon and rewards. For anyone wondering the $50 reward is valid for one year and the $50 coupon is valid 11/10-12/7.
Thank you, worked without issue!

Seems one of the main benefits is same day delivery. Don't think I'm getting that being the closest one is ~50 miles away and even if they would they use Shipt who's drivers a rely on tips. Kind of negates any savings you'd receive.

If you have a credit card that gives you the option for virtual credit cards that you can set a short expiration date on, use a virtual credit card.

You still should cancel the renewal, but using a virtual credit stops the merchant from failing to honor your cancellation.
See post #13 of this thread for instructions for immediately cancelling the auto-renewal once you sign up.

I have multiple Targets within 3 miles of me. Never spend much money there anymore. A few grocery items, a few household items. That's it any more - got tired of many of their policy changes over time, and their prices, while good, aren't as competitive as what I can get on good sales elsewhere. Still, for certain grocery items in particular, they're ok, if you're not one to shop the sales.

See previous comments about Shipt using poorly paid drivers and asking you to pay drivers tips when you make orders. Note that the driver may NOT get the entire tip - some companies don't give drivers the entire tip. Read the fine print, the company's policies, and research your state's laws.

I signed up for this deal and noticed the weirdest thing. Target won't deliver any perishables to me. I'm about 13 miles from the closest target and I can't order anything frozen or refrigerated.

Thanks for posting. Had offer. I was going to buy pet supplies anyway, saves me going out, and essentially free target360 for a year. (Was gonna spend $50 on pet stuff anyway) Just set a calendar entry to go cancel Nov 8, 2025!
I went into the Target app and was able to cancel immediately after signing up. It said I would keep target360 until November 2025.
