Applied code, showed $100 striked, how ever I have been charged $100 to cc.
Had chat and as per the agent

Movie pass promo code applied but it still showed up 200$ pending in my credit card statement. Something doesn't seem right

Two accounts with C1 virtual cards and locked them afterwards. No issues signing in with the app. We'll see if this promo sticks. I doubt that it will since they would need lots of VC backers just like last time then kaboom.

Do the credits show up instantly? I signed up and it says "join" and asks me to choose a plan and enter a CC again.

Dang I see the 72 credits on the app now. So i guess it worked? Shows a "Subscription" tab in my account too. Signedup on website, downloaded the app but it was still showing "Join". I did that again using the PGA code and it said successful but still showed "Join". 5-10 mins later I see the 72 credits. Used a virtual CC

I applied the code. The $200 was striked through.... but I have a $200 charge on my debit card.

Ok so now on my wife's account, she signed up after me, it says 140 credits. Says standard subscription.

My account says just join.

Looks like 3 strikes and MoviePass is going to die yet again (they've already been bankrupt once or twice IIRC). They are signing up thousands of new users for free and they are going to be on the hook for covering thousands of movie tickets if they let this go through. Watch your credit cards folks for charges.

Did anybody get a confirmation email when they signed up? Still waiting and my CC did get charged for $200.

So I kept getting error finding user error after entering credit card info. I went ahead and removed the promo code and then added it again and selected "add payment method" again and it worked. Might just be a fluke but might be an answer to the error finding user problem.
