If it's a digital product price mistake, big companies don't care, and sometimes let it slide. This is not a digital product. Moviepass actually pays the theater full price for each ticket (as far as I know; even if they are not that's besides the poin; they are still paying a lot).
They are just relying on the fact that many consumers won't use the full benefit and at an average they'll come out ahead. If they let thousands of people sign up for free it'll surely tank (again).

Solution #2: Add promo code under "Monthly", not "Annual"
