not sure how much this will affect your viewing, but the 75" has the ADS PRO panel and not the VA panel. I want to try this TV so bad and need a 75", but not sure of the ADS panel Frown

Here is the review
"The sizes of the Hisense U8/U8N [rtings.com] that use a VA panel are better overall than the Hisense 75U8N (ADS PRO panel) in almost every way. The U8N (VA panel) has significantly better contrast, displaying incredibly deep blacks that are approaching what you get from an OLED. When it comes to brightness, the U8N (VA) is brighter overall, so it overcomes a bit more glare in a bright room and displays brighter highlights in HDR content. The U8N (VA) also has a faster response time, so there's less blur behind fast motion. On the other hand, the 75U8N has a wider viewing angle, so it's better suited for watching TV with a group."

FWIW... Rtings did a separate review for the 75" version, and gave it the same overall score as the VA panel. The link is in the thread description.

Dude... I said Rtings, OVERALL, gives the VA version and the ADS Pro version the same rating (8.5 for both), which they do. I said nothing specific about contrast or brightness. And, how much brightness do you need anyway? Peak on the VA... 3700 nits, Peak on the ADS Pro... 2900 nits. The ADS Pro version also follows EOTF closer.

The ADS Pro panel allows much, much wider viewing angles. Reviews have claimed it's on par with oled. I have a very wide seating area, so I am going with the ADS Pro

need to replace an old hisense h8f in my bedroom that's failing...planning on replacing it with the hisense 65" u75k i have in my living room and getting this to replace that. price is right, but I'm concerned about the ads pro...how bad is it compared to the regular version? I know rtings says va is better in almost every department, but how much better?
