I went into DSW yesterday to purchase a gift card and forgot that I added this AMEX offer. They're offering a $15 statement credit on $100 purchase and currently you can get $25 in reward gift cards (redeemable in Jan 2025) with $100 GC purchase. Seemed like a decent deal to me.

Sometimes gift cards come from a 3rd party and don't trigger the Amex offer. Did you get the confirmation of offer used from Amex?

Seems like OP purchased gift card in-store. So that should trigger. OP can you confirm

I received confirmation email this morning, but it also states it must meet "all requirements of offer terms". I also just got an email with $5 in DSW Rewards since you get 5% back there.

It looks like the only thing you can't use it on is gift cards.

Update: the statement credit came through on 11/12. So it looks like for $85 you get:
$100 Gift Card, $25 Bonus (limited time) Gift Card and a $10 DSW Reward (free to join program)

Did you get a $5 (5%) reward and a $10 reward for buying a $100 gift card? Their rewards terms [dsw.com] says gift card purchases are excluded.

I made a purchase of $131, but on the statement, they split it between $87 and $43 just so I dont get the credit. Feels like I got robbed
