I have a couple of HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2022 with the 5700g cpu and integrated graphics that I always thought of upgrading the graphics card without upgrading the cpu. I wonder if I can get away with a gtx 1650.

Depending on what you want to do with two cards, it probably wouldn't really be helpful... Especially for gaming. Dual card gaming setups aren't really a thing at this point.

I bought a Zotac refurb once and it died days after their 90 day warranty expired due to a VRAM issue.

If you buy them be prepared to accept a total loss.

Honestly, most cards are just using reference boards from nVidia regardless of mfr. So, most of the differences come down to what sort of heatsink/fan unit do they put on it, and whether you win the chip lottery. Like most things, chips follow a bell curve. Some are shitty, most fall in that medium range, and some are exceptional.

For me, I always refer to the graphics hiearchy chart that Tom's hardware has been publishing for over a decade now.

Since I game at 1080p ultra, I refer to that as baseline (until I upgrade my monitor). Normally I only upgrade three tiers up so the 3070 Ti falls in that category.

Ultimately it depends on what you game in and what you're comfortable FP-wise (and $). I think a 3070 Ti for under $300 is a slick deal.

wow the real winner here is the 1650 oc low profile. People are buying these at 100+ on ebay sold listings. u can easily buy all of the these and resell on ebay for a quick buck.
