The g915 is pretty thin, much prefer it over my g910 which is just bulky with the built in hand rest. Never used a g915x, but it has 4 more macro buttons instead of memory buttons and different keycaps other than that seems pretty identical. Don't really care for the 2 mice, but they are fine and can you ever have too many spare mice?
I have had the g910 and one before so I've been using the macro software a long time and its not bad. Maybe not the easiest to use, but I haven't had the need to use any others for several years.
The 915 is great if you've got multiple machines, but I went through three (replaced by geek squad and Logitech warranty at least) because the switches are soldered and started repeating keys in under a year.
Buyer beware!!! While conceptually, this is a great keyboard with the macro keys, the quality absolutely sucks. Run! My first one I purchased had a piece of plastic stuck in the key switch that would periodically get wedged and prevent the key from being pressed. The 2nd one I got began double typing certain keys after only 3months of use. These are straight up not reliable.
I've been using the g915 keyboard with clicky keys for years now. I'd say it's been my favorite keyboard out of the ones I've used. I mostly wanted a mechanical keyboard that was wireless, and this worked out well. I guess the keys do wobble and stuff, but to be honest, it never bothered me. I never thought about it until I read people talking about it online. I haven't had any issues, but the "m" key is starting to rub off a bit after all this time, but I think I've gotten value out of this.

I'm using 915 tkl clicky. Absolute favorite keyboard. Great for switching between Mac (Bluetooth) and windows (USB) conveniently. Low profile is great without wrist rest. The keycap quality are really bad. The letters chip within months.
Logitech support is pretty trash by email. Took over a month of communication to send me my product under warranty because they respond once a week. If you get John D as support, run!
