Great Clips Gift Card yearly promotion is available now.

Cost should be $11.99 to $19.99 per haircut.

The discount card is only available at participating locations, while supplies last.
The cards usually sell out in three to four weeks. The offer is not available online.

Great Clips locations are independently owned, price and participation varies, call your store before driving down. The price for sure varies by location and/or market, so double check first before purchasing. (If you spot the card in your area, let me know by leaving a comment below.)

Here is what We have so far

Dallas, TX - $11.99
Metro Atlanta, GA - $12.99
Las Vegas, NV Lewisburg ,TN Hutto, TX - $14.99
St Louis, MO- $15.99
Franklin, TN - $16.99
Sacramento, CA; Richmond, VA- $17.99
Bay Area, CA - $19.99

Load as many discounted haircuts on the card as you want… (1 for $12.99, 2 for $25.98, 3 for $38.97, etc.) However, minimum/maximum purchase may apply, so check first before purchasing.

The pre-paid card never expires. However, you cannot reload the card with more discounted haircuts. Once the sale is over for the year, it's over.

The cards cannot be combined with any other offer or coupon. However, the card can be redeemed at any participating location in the U.S. and is transferable — even in the same visit, e.g Dad and 5 kids (assuming you have the appropriate number of haircuts loaded on the card).

Tip cannot be added on the card. Cash Tip or some stores allow Tip to be added on your regular credit / debit card.

These posts should be banned since they are store specific. If the poster lists the chain where these specials are store specific, they should be deleted.

Here in Atlanta it was $12 pre-COVID and $20 now (as of two days ago). Just a cash grab if we're being honest. Prices have not needed to go up 67% for the same 5-minute haircut
Ann Arbor Mi area, 14.99 pre Covid and 24.99 now. The store also said they no longer take the discount cards if you still have them.

No luck in El Paso, TX. They seemed surprised I asked about those cards advising it had been years since they offered prepaid cards. I still appreciate the post as it reminded me to check for coupons before I went today.

If you're traveling you can buy the cheaper cards and use them at your home location.

For the past few years, many locations in my area haven't sold them. This is a total YMMV.

I did find one location in my area 30 mins away that was selling them, but the haircuts are loaded on at 18.99 each, which isn't much of a deal in my area.

I believe each franchisee decides whether or not to sell them, when to sell them (usually starting sometime in Nov), how many to sell, how much to sell them for, and how many they will let you load onto a card. However, the cards can be used at any great clips location, and the cards do not expire.

As other people on here mentioned, be careful if you go to a great clips that doesn't typically sell these cards or is unfamiliar with them, they may not know how to properly apply the card in their system, and they may accidentally ring it up as a generic gift card, in which case, you won't be getting a discounted haircut! Corporate won't be able to help you if someone doesn't know how to apply the card properly!
When they are applying this type of gift card in the system, they have to tap something that says "Yes, this is a great card", and then they need to hit the scan button and then scan the barcode. Then they have to hit yes to apply the proper value to deduct from the card for the discounted haircut.

The cards are not re-loadable. Once you buy a card with a set of haircuts for a certain discounted price, you can't make any changes to the card.

If a store is saying they don't accept them, it's probably because they don't know how to apply these cards in their system since they are probably unfamiliar with them and probably haven't sold them in the past. I have never heard of a GCs location that wasn't able to honor these cards.
