I think the downvotes might be due to the languishing transition to tabless batteries and the rebranding of many DeWalt batteries to make the sub-categories consistent. They really borked their entire lineup naming and i thought they announced the transition was going to be this summer. Guess not.
Also, these have been down to $75 without the charger, so there are probably better deals to be had soon.
Still, not a bad deal.

Dewalt's naming of power tools and batteries has been horrible.

This is a great price. Is my mind playing tricks on me? I swear I was just looking at an amazon deal for $60 powerstack battery and charger but ah wasn't listed clearly. Had to hunt to find they were 1.7ah. Don't see that deal anywhere then this popped up. Based on reviews these provide more power and last twice as long as the standard XR. That being said the 2x 5ah kits are probably a better option if you want to be able to keep one on the charger and swap out.
