Not to be confused with the Costco deal, that is for a relatively older Core 7 150U CPU. This is for Core Ultra 5 125U (very similar to 155U) and two TB ports with USB-C charging.

This is comparable to Lenovo Yoga 7i 2 in 1, that was on sale until yesterday for $100 less (almost identical specs) and HP Envy X360 2 in 1 (for the $80 more with slightly better CPU - 155U and more storage).

This has perfect port selection for me with two TB ports, HDMI port, SD card slot and USB-A port. So can live without dongles on this one.

Only reason I personally would choose this over the Lenovo is for the keyboard with no Numpad. I have tried the Yoga 7i 2 in 1, really liked it except for the typing ergonomics. It is personal preference. The original listed price is nowhere justifiable though for any of these laptops with just FHD+ screen.

Compared to HP Envy, this has better port selection (an additional TB4 port and a full size SD card slot)

Any opinion on this one vs other deals currently? Does anyone feel better deals are still out there not announced yet this holiday season?

This 2-in-1 laptop, but with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, a 1TB drive, and the Arc graphics is currently on sale direct at Dell for $799 (maybe less if you have some type of AMEX deal)
Dell Link [dell.com]
(At least I think it is the same laptop.)

I liked https://slickdeals.net/f/17872896-dell-inspiron-16-plus-7640-16-fhd-ips-touch-intel-ultra-7-155h-16gb-lpddr5-1tb-ssd-699-99?p=173734731 with its larger NVMe and Core Ultra 7 Processor. Found an open box deal for around $580 And oof, it's expired now. Never mind. I guess some of these pre-Black Friday deals aren't going to last till Black Friday. Good to know.

I pulled the trigger on the one that I linked in my previous post. My wife was tired of being stuck at the desktop for her online stuff and wanted a laptop. Should work well for that.

Between my AMEX $200 Platinum card allowance, another AMEX with $100 off $500, Dell's double Reward points, and 15% from a certain cashback site (who must not be named): I paid under $400.

Which one, I only see 1% for laptops on a few I'm checking.

Would this be good for basic gaming -- like Baldur's Gate?
