If your a competitive gamer, playing at 1080p low/med settings it gives you few more fps and better 1% low

I have the cl 30 version. If I was building a new computer today I'd jump on this for sure.

Seems like money is not an issue, but only you can answer if 30% price hike is worth a couple percentage points of performance. Like another poster replied, it's pretty small difference (few fps and better 1% low) in 1080p competitive gaming, probably a wash in 1440p or 4k.

I think there's a point of diminishing returns on uber fast ram with X3D chips unless you just want bragging rights. Save your money and get cl30 ram

I'm running the 64 gb version of this cl32 on AM5 with no issues outside of the tweaked profile of overclocking doesn't play nice. The chips on my are sourced from hynix if that makes any difference for you

I got the 64 gb version of this ram paired with the 9800x3d and black myth wukong benchmark only went up to 17.5 gb of ram. BG3, CP2077 and Dragons Dogma only used 12-15gb. My pc runs lean build of win10 so baseline/idle usage is 5gb of ram.

Considering you can get CL30 ram 64GB for $150 this feels grossly overpriced
