FYI these are returnable until January 31, so could always order them and return if price drops.
I have the sony ults from secondpity. The biggest negative of them is that they're insanely bulky. I listened to everything best buy had on demo, and agree with most comments online about the ults being better than the 720's. The difference isn't that big, though. If you're looking for BT headphones and scared by the 200+ price point, then these are such a good value, and I wouldn't feel like you're missing out by not getting the xm4 xm5 or quiet comforts.

In terms of comfort, i think that bose is much better (based on my experience with qc35, bose 700, sony 720, sony xm4). In terms of performance, bose is better than sony 720. but I'd rate xm4 to be at par with qc35 or bose 700, if not better. i especially like the customizability of xm4 through the app.
if you can still get it at $140, I'd go with the bose refurbished while keeping an eye on the battery life. i understand the cost is almost double, but something like this will last a while.

- at full charge, see how many hours playtime is mentioned (does it match with specs? if not, by how much does it miss the specs?)
- play for a couple of hours and recheck time remaining; does it match? (so if you have played it for 2 hours, does it say 15 hours remaining, when full charged was 17 hours remaining)
- do these a few times to see if there is consistency, and if you can live with it (for example if plan is to use it for long flights)
also, just be aware that the bose ear cushions will likely fall apart in a few years but can easily be replaced with original parts.
These were better than the beats but sound wise the soundcore sounded and felt a lot better . They are both on sale multiple places for $70-80

I would spend more and go for the XM4 because there is a night and day difference. The NC on this is bad. I bought the 720n's it for the kids and not me.
