This might not be the the store for you but for me it saves me a lot more than the membership cost. My savings on the Kirkland brand products on top of them being a better quality are substantial. Anyone who's never been should try it as a guest.
I save my memberships worth easily in one 6 week trip. It's mostly the same stuff I buy at other stores just much cheaper per unit. Agreed Kirkland stuff is great, Just topped off my car's oil with some excellent and super cheap relatively, kirkland oil!

Most of us who shop at Costco recoup the membership fee by buying a few specific items over the course of the year (gas, alcohol, electronic items).
Costco isn't quite the same as it was 10 years ago but they always have the cheapest gas where I live and that makes the membership fee worth it for me.
Just ignore those who always come and trash every Costco deals, I bet they all shop in Walmart or Sam's Club.

I don't know about some of you that had bad experience at Costco. I pay $100+ membership and the yearly refund is still more than the membership fee. We spend about 300+ a week almost every week on average thru out the year there. I spent $50 membership at Sam's club last year and didn't get any back Frown

And no, there is no cheaper gas in So Cal. so each week fill up, we save $1-$2 in gas alone.....this alone is almost paying for the membership if we didn't get it back. I compare price all the time and you can't really beat Costco even on Amazon on most of their items. Supermarket came close when they have a good sales but we decide to depend on Costco than random sales at the supermarket.

Though I don't know if anyone had this annoying experience at Costco where your favorite items disappear and don't come back. My Verizon internet is very spotty in Costco but I had long ago gave up trying to beat Costco price so, I just took picture of the price and look up later. But so rarely that I found better deal outside.

LOL I decide to gave Sam's club a try last year since they were only 4 miles apart. They have a decent choices but doesn't have most of what we want. Even their CC gave only 1% back unless you get the top tier membership.

You'd have to buy around 1,600 gallons to come even, average 100+ fill ups a year, twice a week. And that's not including the time spent just WAITING for your turn, which is easily 10-15 minutes minimum. That's 25 hours of just waiting. I mean, if you don't value your time, then I guess it works out for you. But then the fact of overpaying for almost everything in the store just reverses any "savings".
How much do you think Costco membership costs ?

The Bose QC headphones punch way above its weight class if you're a business traveler considering the minuscule price point here. If you don't have one, or if you're looking for Christmas presents - they're pretty damn amazing.
Also why are people on here so whiny? The Costco monthly sales have been like this since forever. What do people even want? Just cancel your membership if it's so frustrating.

It wasn't so long ago that the sales were better. Maybe 6-7 years ago. Some of us have long memories.

Complaining does have a purpose ... Costco may reconsider some of its policies (the ones that they've trimmed somewhat in the last 10 years) and prices if enough people do. If the membership doesn't provide enough value, people can, and do, cancel. That value also has to offset the hassle of the lines and parking difficulties at Costco, plus the fact most people have to pay more for gas to travel to get to one.

Corporate decision makers don't always make good decisions, and consumers need to let them know when they screw up. Many businesses DO pay attention to comments on sites like this.

Frito-Lay classic mix / Nongshim tonkotsu ramen / Gain detergent / Bibigo beef bulgogi dumplings / Fever tree ginger beer just to name a few

When does the 169 price on bose headphones start? I just bought them at higher price. Will they price match?
