Man, you guys keep posting on my secret GPU store! Now everything is OOS.

In all seriousness, most of these deals are all time lows for price/performance. I keep a spreadsheet and it's a seismic shift. The drop is so large that I'm personally going to wait until CES to see what other prices are in free fall with new graphics releases coming.

if you know the 8gb version is slower than 2060
Did not realize this was the 8GB version. But from what I'm reading it's about on-par with a 2060. Don't forget this does have DLSS 2.0 which the 2060 does not.

Once a year? More like every couple years depending on refresh cycles and deals.
Once a year seems like a huge waste of money for minimal gains.
That's besides the point.

If more traffic is brought to a store front, that you go to seldomly, why would it matter?

It was mostly a joke. Also, we are not logical creatures we are emotional by nature. He feels like his stash is compromised even if it is illogical.

I got the 3070 Ti. It shipped really fast, maybe 2-3 days. It works great and doesn't appear used at all.

The only thing I wasn't expecting is that it came in an ESD bag wrapped with a bunch of bubble wrap inside a box of packaging peanuts. The packaging was totally safe, but there was no graphics card box with additional cables, manual, etc. Fortunately, I had all the cables that I needed already.

Also, as an aside, holy cow is this thing big! It's as long as my forearm. I had to remove the 2.5" bays in my case to allow it to fit.

My 1080 is still killing it for everything I play. Seems like good deals but probably won't upgrade until Far Cry 7. Been thinking 7900 XTX is the way to go but that price on a 3080 Ti is nice.
If that's true, you need a monster upgrade before a gpu. Trust me, it's worth it

Graphic cards are something you buy like once a year, so I don't get this comment...

Unless you're buying to resale, why would it matter if it gets more exposure?
Some people build pc's for resale or just like building them for friends. I own 3 high end card and many other mid/low tier cards.

You needed a cable for a graphics card?

Depending on the outputs of the graphics card (e.g. HDMI, DVI, DP), I've needed adapters for my multi-monitor setups. Usually graphics cards have lots of DP outputs, but the things I plug into always have HDMI and may or may not have DP.

I consider myself fairly lucky that my 2011 modular power supply had 2 x8 power plugs. I don't think that 2x8 was very common in 2011. I would've needed a cable/adapter for that as well.

Ah I see, I only got into serious pc gaming around 2016. Thanks for the answer.
