I really like Lenovo laptops, but I've been holding out for black friday. this seems like a good deal, but I'll be honest, I'm not super tech literate. anyone have feedback on whether this is worth it?

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better convertible than this at this price. Almost every convertible we have been seeing recently has 250-300 nits and 45% NTSC display at this price range while this has a great 16:10 QHD+ 400-nits display. The build quality and keyboard are unmatched, and so are the ports' selection in such a compact chassis. Yes, the RAM is soldered but it's still 16GB which is plenty for many. Yes, the processor is 2 generations old but it's still a capable one. This is the best portable business/productivity convertible laptop that you can buy, esp. at this price.
Don't expect it to do any gaming on this.

I flagged these machines (ThinkPad X13) for deals because they're decent sized (13.3") and good with Linux.
So while you may not be looking for Linux, if you ever wanted to try, these are great laptops for compatibility.
