Yes they do that every year around Black Friday and Christmas. If apple care is important to you then Costco deal is your best bet. If cheapest price is more important than look into Deals like this plus check your credit card offers as I often see 10% cashback deals from Staples. Also Amazon: if you have Amex/Chase/Discover and are eligible for their pay with points promotions for 10%-40% off when using points (YMMV) that's usually the cheapest way to get airpods

I am a Samsung fan, but this apple airpod pro is the best. Even though I lost a few features by using it with my Samsung phones - it still outlast other earbuds I've used. I accidentally put it in the washer a few times, took it to the HOT sauna almost daily, but it refused to die Smilie. All Samsung earbuds would died within 5 minutes in the sauna.

They are the same except for USB-C charging. I have the older lightning charging case and they support the hearing test, hearing aids function.
