Yes they do that every year around Black Friday and Christmas. If apple care is important to you then Costco deal is your best bet. If cheapest price is more important than look into Deals like this plus check your credit card offers as I often see 10% cashback deals from Staples. Also Amazon: if you have Amex/Chase/Discover and are eligible for their pay with points promotions for 10%-40% off when using points (YMMV) that's usually the cheapest way to get airpods

Costco will perform a "price adjustment", which is just a partial refund after you've already purchased the item, if you identify a lower price for the same item at Costco. They will not price adjust if you find a lower price at any other retailer. They also won't price adjust if you buy the item on costco.com and then see a lower price in the warehouse.

Costco does not "price match", which is a lowering of the price before you've made the purchase, if you identify a lower price at another retailer.

They guy pulled it from the back room. Online it says not available in store. Looks like you have to make the store trip. Used my $100 rewards cash. Great deal for me. Xmas present for my kid.
