Completely different products. I've finished buckets of both. Mountain house is freeze dried and taste worlds better. It's also easier to make and weighs far less for the calorie density.

Thanks & Reps, yes to the caloric content and palatability….

Local Grocery Store has assorted Maruchan Ramen for $0.07 a pack limit 48 this week.
What do you think $3.36 for 48 ?
Shelf life should be good until Brandon gets his bike moved.

With the $25 off $100 (just add an eligible ice pack for $0.88 [amazon.com]), ~$76 is about as low as Mountain House is going to get these days for a bucket, no?
