The Bondi 8 dug into my arches. Not a good shoe if you have flat feet or lower than normal arches. I have worn all the even numbered Bondi releases since the v4 and the v8 is the first version that disagrees with my arches.

I bought htis brand in March and I would never buy them again, They are not cheap but are worn out already with mild wear. I could do better with very cheap shoes. I would not ever buy them again

Try the Arahi, it's an excellent shoe for flat feet. I'm also a big fan of the Challenger 7.

Thanks for the advice. I already tried the Challenger 7 – or maybe it was the 6 – and the arch support wasn't as prominent but it still felt too present. I avoid stability shoes like the plague. So the Arahi is a no-go. I wore the Gaviota for years until I realized it was causing my feet to supinate. HOKA is just not a good fit for me or my biomechanics.

Grab the Adidas UBs from Woot for $52. Less than half the price and just as comfortable, better looking and more durable, but an older sole further back on the hype train. Hoka are still riding on their trendy mommy vlogger moment.
